About Nick

Hey there! Thanks for stopping by my shop. 

My name is Nick. Owner and blacksmith here at Valkyrie Steel in Bigfork, Montana. Everything on my store is made by hand, by me here in my shop. I use traditional forging and casting methods to create unique pendants, bracelets and knives. I work with a variety of materials from steel, copper, fine silver, and brass. 

I started Valkyrie Steel in 2020 after years of blacksmithing being my hobby. Now I am happy to be doing what I love full time. 

My wife, Meghan, is my business partner and handles our online store and communications. And our 2 sons , 6 years old and 9 months old, they are quality control making sure things get done:)  

I do take custom orders upon request, just reach out and we can discuss what you’re envisioning and I can work with you to make it a reality.
